Ab sofort wird das zur CeBIT 2004 vorgestellte Smartphone
Nokia 7610 ausgeliefert. Basierend auf Symbian OS 7.0s mit Series 60 v2 Oberfläche wurde das neue Modell mit Nokias erster Megapixel-Digitalkamera (1.152 x 864 Pixel) und Digitalzoom, TriBand GSM/GPRS sowie Bluetoothkommunikation ausgestattet. Der interne Speicher umfasst 8 MB, als Erweiterungskarte kommt eine mitgelieferte 'Reduced Size MMC' mit 64 MB zum Einsatz.
Neu ist softwareseitig das Nokia Lifeblog, ein mobil wartbares Online-Tagebuch.
Das Nokia 7610 soll ab sofort zum Preis von etwa 450-500 Euro ohne Vertrag erhältlich sein.
