Hallo erstmal...

ich habe folgendes Problem :

Handy: P900
PC-BS: Windows XP
Synchro-SW: PCSuite Version 3.0
E-Mail-Programm : Outlook 2000

Nach Installation der Synchro-Software habe ich eine Synchronisation durchgeführt. Der Kalender wurde einwandfrei synchronisiert. Bei den Kontakten werden weder die Einträge vom Handy zum Outlook verschoben, noch umgekehrt. Lediglich im Outlook werden 2 Einträge die dort schon vorhanden waren nochmals eingetragen. Bei jedem Synchro-Vorgang werden diese beiden Einträge erneut im Outlook eingetragen, so dass nach dem dritten Synchro-Vorgang diese beiden Einträge jetzt bereits 3 mal im Outlook eingetragen sind. Hat jemand eine Idee, was hier schief läuft ?

Upgrading from P800 or P900 PC Suite to 3.0.0 (P910) PC Suite

The Sony Ericsson PC Suite has an upgraded synchronisation database compared to the P800 and the P900 PC Suite. If you have a P800 or P900 series phone and want to upgrade the PC Suite you shall follow the step by step instructions below for a seamless upgrade.

An upgrade to 3.0.0 from an earlier PC Suite will cause a so called "Full synchronisation". This may cause duplicates of Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Jotter and Email at the first synchronisation after the installation. To avoid duplicates the following steps should be followed:

1. Synchronise your P800/P900 with your current version of PC Suite just before upgrading to 3.0.0 PC Suite.




2. Remember what settings you have in "Sync Station Settings" for Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes and email (the new PC Suite requires new user settings to be made).




3. Install the new Sony Ericsson PC Suite version 3.0.0.




4. Make a backup of your phone (Memory Stick not necessary to backup).




5. This step is ONLY needed if you are using email synchronisation - Go to your Mobile phone in "Control Panel" | "Connections" | "Messaging accounts" and look for email accounts starting with "PC ..." and delete those. If you are synchronising the phone with several computers make sure you delete the right account, the text after "PC " indicates which computer the account belongs to.




6. Enter into "Sync Station Settings" on the PC and make the settings you want to have.




7. Enter into the 3rd tab called "Full synchronisation" and select the "Force full synchronisation", also select "Keep all items in computer and override items in phone".




8. Exit by pressing "OK".




9. Synchronise the phone.




10. If you don't want to keep the setting "Keep all items in computer and override items in phone" permanently go in "Sync Station Settings" and change this setting and press "OK".




11. Check that you have the right content in your applications in your phone.

Ich habe ja kein Upgrade gemacht ! Das P900 wurde bisher ohne "Anbindung" an den PC genutzt. Ich habe dann die Version 3.0.0 installiert um Handy und Outlook abgleichen zu können.

Hallo GuidoN,

vielleicht liegt es trotzdem daran, dass man bei der allerersten Synchronisation eine "vollständige Synchronisierung erzwingen" muss, siehe unter Optionen -> Sync Station Einstellungen.

Na ich habe die Software ja noch ein zweites Mal installiert und da habe ich ja dann die vollständige Synchronisation "Erzwungen", half aber leider auch nichts !

dumme frage: die beiden "problembehafteten" einträge einfach löschen und neu eintragen wäre kein ansatz?

Nein, hat auch nichts gebracht ! Ich habe jetzt das P900 resettet (Rücksetzung auf Werkseinstellung) und PCSuite 2.4.1 installiert, nun funzt es !
